Bookings largely reflect purchases of Robux. Revenue recognition can follow later as virtual items are consumed or over the period they remain available. That timing difference makes bookings a more immediate view of spending than reported revenue.

Divide bookings for the quarter by average daily active users for that same quarter. Roblox calls this ABPDAU. It measures monetization across the active audience, whereas bookings per paying user focuses only on the people making purchases.
