Revenue / net sales history
2010–2020 · CHF millionsOn reports revenue as net sales. Early turnover and net sales searches refer to this same series. Chart labels are rounded to whole millions; the table preserves the available precision.
Adjusted EBITDA history
2019–2020 · CHF millionsThe prospectus reports adjusted EBITDA, not an unadjusted EBITDA series. It is a non-IFRS measure and is not net income. Verified figures for 2010–2018 are not included in this dataset.
Net income / (loss) history
2019–2020 · CHF millionsOn reported net losses in both years in its IPO prospectus. Negative bars extend below zero. These are as-reported figures, not later restated results.

Sources, definitions and coverage
Where do the pre-IPO revenue numbers come from?
The IPO prospectus net sales timeline (printed page 81) supplies 2010–2018 values rounded to CHF millions. For 2019–2020, we use the more precise income statement figures (printed page 21), converted from CHF thousands to millions. This is total company net sales, not footwear-only revenue.
Are the accounting periods comparable?
2010–2011 covers On AG; 2012–2017 covers consolidated On Holding AG. Those figures use Swiss GAAP. From 2018 the timeline uses IFRS. On states that net sales recognition has no significant differences between these bases; that statement does not establish comparability for every profit measure.
Why is early EBITDA and net income missing?
The cited prospectus provides the annual profitability figures used here for 2019 and 2020. We have not verified a year-by-year EBITDA or net income series for 2010–2018, so those cells remain unavailable. We do not estimate them from revenue or margins.
What does adjusted EBITDA exclude?
On’s prospectus definition (printed page 22) starts with net income / (loss) and removes tax expense, financial income and expenses, foreign exchange effects, depreciation and amortization, share-based compensation, and IPO transaction costs. This is On’s adjusted measure, not standard EBITDA or IFRS profit.
Why does the annual history stop at 2020?
2020 is the last complete financial year before On’s 2021 IPO. The prospectus also contains six-month 2021 figures, which are deliberately excluded from these full-year charts. This historical dataset preserves the figures reported at IPO and does not mix in subsequent restatements.
