A few useful answers
Coverage, access, and the details that matter when choosing a data provider.
Does this replace my financial-statement API?
VizualStocks adds company-specific operating KPIs and segmentation to your existing research stack. You can continue using another provider for standardized statements or market prices and use VizualStocks for the operating drivers. Check the available metrics before choosing an integration.
Which companies, metrics, and historical periods are covered?
The coverage directory lists companies and their KPI and segment definitions, available frequencies, and first and last reported periods. History varies by metric. Discontinued series are labeled separately and can remain useful for historical research.
Are metrics comparable across companies?
Stable IDs and consistent response formats make data easier to use; they do not make different business definitions identical. Read each metric’s definition, units, reporting periods, and lifecycle before comparing companies. A company can also report overlapping segment groups.
Can I connect this API to an AI agent?
Yes. Call the REST API from your own agent tools, keep the API key on your server, and pass the returned data to your model. Use the metric catalog to discover the exact IDs and definitions available for each company.
How do I retrieve issuer-source references?
Add includeSources=true to a history request. Reviewed observations can include the original issuer document, an archived PDF, a page reference, and a source image. See the history reference for the response fields.
How quickly is newly reported data available?
New earnings KPI data is generally available within 1–5 minutes. Retrieve the latest available snapshot through the Latest Earnings endpoint.
Can I use the data in a customer-facing product?
Builder and Scale plans support customer-facing display under their respective terms. Individual is for personal and internal research. Raw-data resale or sublicensing requires a separate agreement. Compare the plan usage rights.
